Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, he said: "Because we stand at a crossroads of destiny, because the region is ablaze with crises, and because we are not weak and cannot contribute to the fragmentation of Lebanon, I say: Lebanon's problem lies in its political choices and its capitulationist priorities.
Lebanon is currently experiencing a moment of complete exposure because some are placing us at the heart of external financial, security, and diplomatic conditions that are inseparable from the clamorous internationalization of these issues. This means we are on a path that will lead the country from one catastrophe to another, further marginalizing Lebanon and exploiting it as a regional pawn and an arena for conflicts against its fundamental national interests''.
He added: "Herein lies the internal danger to the country's trajectory. This is a moment to salvage the direction and the course, not to surrender all of Lebanon's assets. The problem isn't the financial crisis and social pressure, but rather the political paralysis, the failure of sovereignty, and the insistence on implementing a foreign agenda that blatantly contradicts the concept of state sovereignty and its national interests.
Therefore, instead of the government attacking Israel, it is attacking Lebanon. Instead of extending its sovereign power south of the river, it is advancing north. Instead of securing its people, it is displacing them. Instead of building internal strength to bolster national defense and security, it is dismantling national capabilities and exposing Lebanon completely. This is the crux of the national catastrophe''.
He pointed out that "the government is suffering from a complete failure complex amidst a financial, social, and sovereign crisis that is striking at the very core of the national structure. The danger since the ceasefire lies in the government's insistence on a policy of abandonment and exclusion, withholding national support from the South, the Bekaa Valley, and the southern suburbs of Beirut, and ignoring all the Israeli raids, killings, and occupation. In doing so, it is serving a project to tear the country apart and expose it in a reckless manner. This puts us at risk of the pillars collapsing. The moment is now to protect Lebanon and put an end to this governmental madness within a political structure that knows nothing about the priorities of existential defense. The issue is protecting Lebanon, not surrendering it''.
He continued: "The so-called peace group wants to present Lebanon as easy prey for Israel, and this will not happen, no matter the cost. The crisis is a national crisis, a crisis of mismanagement of priorities, and a crisis of a subservient team. Lebanon's structure cannot withstand such adventures. The national test begins on the southern front, not against it. The complex of national fragmentation is a resounding catastrophe perpetrated by the failed government. Lebanon will only be a country of strength, resilience, and unyielding sovereignty. National duty is not measured by what the government concedes, but by what the people do to prevent the government from compromising national interests''.
